Now that it is actually icy and snowy outside… it’s time for winter wear!

This is a chocolate cake with a raspberry filling and vanilla buttercream. A delicious and reliable flavor combination!

It has been shaped to be a white toboggan / beanie. This cake involved some leaps of faith when it came to using new tips, new shapes, and a design like I’ve never done. I am happy with how it came out, proud of how far I have come with cakes while understanding and seeing room for improvement. I love every opportunity to grow!

🍓🍫 S’mores Cake 🍫🍓

The perfect cake to remind you of some seasonably cold camping! What better to pair with this weather than the flavor of s’mores?

This is a four-layer chocolate cake with vanilla marshmallow buttercream. In between each layer is finely chopped strawberries and mini chocolate chips. The design includes a ganache drip, chocolate covered strawberries, marshmallows, graham crackers, and pieces of chocolate.

This is the second time I have done this design and flavor combination. It’s so simple and cute, and very yummy! Maybe it’s a January cake tradition!

Hey everybody, here is my 2025 Jane’s Baking recap!

It was my goal this year to make at least one cake a month, totaling twelve. I am proud to say that I have almost doubled that goal with twenty-three cakes in 2025!

This goal seemed almost impossible to accomplish when I set it. Some months were busier than others, some cakes were orders and others gifts, some designs were hard and others easy… but, it was accomplished! So, here is my 2025 showcase!

🏠🎄 Gingerbread House Cake 🎄🏠

This is a gingerbread spice cake, paired with vanilla marshmallow buttercream. There is cinnamon sugar sprinkled in between each layer.

The design is very quick and simple, purposefully keeping a non-perfect look (because who has ever accomplished that with a gingerbread house!).

🍂🍏 Caramel Apple Cake 🍏🍂

This cake was a moist apple cake paired with a caramel buttercream. Between each layer there is a homemade cinnamon apple purée. The design itself has a caramel sauce drizzle, fresh apple slices, and a cinnamon oat crumble.

What a perfect cake for the fall season! This was my first apple cake and it was enjoyably moist and flavorful!
