I'm going to be honest with you here. Part of my break for August was to rethink things. Sales have been very slow for about a year and a half and have taken a big mental toll on me. I've posted several pre-sales, several specials, tried offering new items.....nothing. I still have a few things I want to try before giving up completely. But it might be time for me to bow out of the baking game.

So I'm trying one last time. I really want to make some cookies so that I can try 2 new recipes. But I don't want to make a bunch of stuff to end up eating it myself.

If I brought out some of my top selling cookies along with two new flavors for this coming weekend (Labor Day weekend), would you come out??

In all transparency....if things don't pick up outside of doing events, December will be my last month doing Anita's Sweets & Treats. I have another venture I'm working on. I was hoping to combine them, but baking ingredients are too expensive to not get enough orders. There comes a time when you have to ask yourself, "Is the effort I'm putting in it worth my time?". I have many hobbies and things up my sleeve, so you won't see the last of me....just maybe less baking.
I rode that cake pop train until the end. 🚂🚂
