Have you seen the Bluey episode "Markets"? 💙
Bluey receives $5 from the tooth fairy, and gets to choose what to spend it on at her local market. There's lots of options, but she spends it on - spoiler alert lol- a toffee apple! We then see that same $5 bill passed from vendor to vendor as they each buy from each other, eventually ending back in the paws of Bluey's friend. They then use it ✨again✨ to tip the musician playing in the park. 🩷
Choosing to spend our dollars locally, no matter the amount, can have a ripple effect through your community. 🥰
When selling bread at the farmers market, I'm also using those earned dollars to buy local veggies, eggs, honey and soap from our neighbors! Choosing to purchase beef or pork locally can require some planning, but it supports a local family with big dreams and little mouths to feed ❤️
All that to say, thank you so much for all of your support this past year and a half! Baking this bread has been a labor of love, and I so value the relationships built from this adventure 🍞
