as a baker and a foodie sometimes you have to step outside of your comfort zone and try new things. challenging yourself is not a bad thing. ive had fatayer before and this is my first time making the spinach version (ive made the meat version). i used a different recipe for the dough. i will say the filling is spot on. the dough however i will not use this particular recipe again. they werent fluffy and they were a bit crispy. ill use the dough recipe from the meat version next time. we learn as we go. and thats ok.

oh... and i do not like rolling dough of any kind. the more i make these the more practice i get and the more uniform my fatayer will be.

Stopped in at Assad's Bakery today to get some supplies for some new product recipes I want to make and test. Wonderful place. The lady at the counter was so lovely. We got some spinach & feta pies for the ride home and my son said next time we come here we have to get 2 bags of them! He also wants to try their gyro next visit. We will be back soon.

hey followers! sorry for the radio silence. im still baking. i have been waiting for egg prices to go back down so i can continue to give you an incredible product without having to raise prices.

i have also been crafting new product recipes and once i get feedback from my testers ill be doing a post to announce the new products that will be available! im so excited are you?

I will start taking Christmas cookies orders next week. Prices, cookies and cheesecakes offered will be posted on Monday. Keep your eyes posted!

As always we take cash, cash app and venmo. Deposits are needed when orders are placed. Sorry some folks had to ruin it for others by placing orders (some over $100) and not picking them up. I can't waste my time or ingredients on folks who ghost.

All orders must be placed by Dec 10th.

Sweetest Day is October 19th this year. Here are the items I will be taking orders for. Again, orders are pre-pay. I accept CashApp, Venmo, PayPal and cash. Deadline for orders is October 10.

Strawberry chocolate chip shareable cookie in a heart shaped tin $15 w/1 doz chocolate covered strawberries $30

1 doz heart shaped cut out cookies (undecorated) $15

1 dozen chocolate covered strawberries $15

For those who want more "perverted" cookies I can do 2 dozen p***s shaped cut out cookies (undecorated) $25 (can color the dough to make in customer specific colors)

Personal sized cheesecake $8 (4" round) available in plain, strawberry topped or blueberry topped (graham crusts only - nut or oreo crusts are $3 upcharge)

10" cheesecake $75 available in plain, strawberry or blueberry toppped (graham crust only - nut or oreo crusts are $10 upcharge)

All orders will come with bonus items as a thank you for your patronage.

Again, order deadline is October 10.
