Who's ready for Challenge 2?! 🙋‍♀️ With the weather warming up and all of the buzz about backyard BBQs, we figured we'd give you a fun, and creative, option for the 2nd challenge of our BYO series...a crumble!

We love crumbles because they are basically pie without having to make your own pie crust AND they can be customized to use the fruit you have or any fruit your heart desires! The picture shows the beginning of a blueberry, rhubarb, nectarine crumble, but we've made berry crumbles, and strawberry mango crumbles, and mango rhubarb crumbles, and so many more...the sky is the limit. You can swap in whatever sweeteners you want and really build the flavor profiles into exactly what you want them to be! For full instructions and a list of ingredients, go to the . Don't forget to let your crumble cool before eating and share your pics!

✨Happy Friday✨ As we enter into the weekend, we're excited to introduce you to a series we've been working on behind the scenes to keep your options open in the kitchen and your creativity alive! This series is not intended to instruct you to follow a recipe, but rather give you the tools to write your own while following your tastebuds. PARENTS: This series is a great way to get your kids working to help plan meals, understand and try new foods/flavors, and talk about how differing tastes aren't a mark of whether something is good or bad....just different (like people and leadership styles 😉). Read more on our blog and sign-up for our newsletter for early access to the weekly challenges.

Challenge 1 - Bake Your Own (BYO) Layer Dip! 🌮Cinco de Mayo🌮 may be over, but our love for a 7 layer dip never ends! For our 1st challenge, we want you create your own layer dip, and while we're partial to Mexican flavors here, the sky is the limit! Try out Greek or Indian or Asian flavors...or how about dessert or a fun theme?! And don't forget to be creative with the items you use to transport the dip from the bowl to your mouth...chips, veggies, churros for dessert... We can't wait to see what you create!

Rules: There's only one rule...your dip must contain a minimum of 3 layers. Tag us in your creations and use hashtags

“At the end of the day we are only accountable to ourselves - our success is the result of what we do.” - Catherine Pulsifier

What a great way to introduce this week’s leadership theme of accountability! Accountability is a key part of leadership. It’s important because it builds trust. Being accountable means that you’re willing to make a commitment and be responsible for your own actions. When done right, a leader who practices accountability can inspire confidence in others. Accountability not only improves your relationship with others, but also yourself! Stay tuned this week to learn how we teach our campers accountability!

A great trick to staying motivated is having a clear and defined game plan. The first step is to find your goal. What do you want to achieve? Turn that goal into a vision - how does that goal play out in your daily life? Once you've imagined what achieving that goal will look like for you, the next step is to produce a plan and take action. Think of taking it day-by-day rather than by the potential vastness of your goal. A goal without a plan is simply just a dream. To achieve it, we must plan how we're going to achieve it!

Goal-setting and planning are a huge part of our Bake Me A Leader summer programs. Setting goals teaches young leaders to identify their goals and create a plan on how they're going to achieve it in terms of baking. This helps keep them on track and motivated!

Reserve a spot in our summer camp today (no upfront cost)! Click the link below to sign up! This is a great opportunity for your campers to learn valuable leadership skills through baking!

Inspired by this week's theme of "motivation," we decided to create our very own baking vision board! You may have heard of or seen vision boards before, but we're going to explain why they're important and why they work!

A vision board is any sort of board on which you display images that represent whatever you want to be, do, or have in your life. Creating and using vision boards serves several purposes, some of which include helping you to:

- Identify your vision and give it clarity
- Reinforce your daily affirmations
- Keep your attention on your intentions

Vision boards provide clarity and keep you focused on your goals. By constantly looking at your vision board and thinking of your goals, you are utilizing the Law of Attraction to manifest your goals into reality!

Vision boards can contain ANYTHING. It's just important that they are personal to you and your goals. It can include recipes you want to bake, outfits you want to wear, places you'd like to travel to, or quotes that resonate with your goals. It's a fun visual way to motivate yourself! Try making your own vision board at home today! Let's get motivated!
