Kibinai-
Lithuanian meat pastries, also known as meat-filled pastries or savory pastries, which are the national dish of the Karaite people in Lithuania. They are made with a dough that is enriched with butter, eggs, and sour cream. Pastries are typically filled with mutton and onion but can also have other fillings like pork, chicken, or even mushrooms.
I used pork shoulder with onion for filling 🤤
Kibinai are particularly popular with the Karaim ethnic minority in Lithuania, and they’re primarily associated with the city of Trakai.
