Today we celebrate freedom, resilience, culture, community, and the generations whose strength continues to inspire us.

In honor of Juneteenth, we're highlighting three flavors that have earned a special place at countless family gatherings, celebrations, and dessert tables:

Cupcake Council Meeting — Pre-Frosting Edition

📢 Raspberry Almond has entered the chat.

"Feeling fresh. Feeling fabulous. Feeling shelf-ready."

Red Velvet looked up from across the cooling rack and replied:

"Cute. But long before you arrived, there was me."

Raspberry Almond:

"Respectfully, legend... we're both here now."

And just like that, the council meeting was underway. 😌

Here's something we don't talk about enough:

At Celene's Confections, our cupcakes are cake first.

Before the swirls.
Before the drizzle.
Before the toppings.
Before the "oohs" and "ahhs."

Every cupcake starts with a flavorful, moist cake that can stand proudly on its own.

The frosting, crunches, cookies, candies, and decorative touches?

Those are simply the Exquisite extras.

Because while toppings may steal the spotlight...

🚨 CUPCAKE COUNCIL SALES UPDATE 🚨

The Council has concluded its review of the first official sales report for Tropical Twist.

Week 1 Results:

🍍 Tropical Twist
• 11 packs sold
• 22 cupcakes enjoyed

The Council notes that Tropical Twist was introduced on Friday and still managed to achieve these results before the close of the sales week on Saturday.

Naturally, Tropical Twist requested the floor.

🍍 Tropical Twist:
"Thank you. I'd like everyone to appreciate the efficiency here. I arrived Friday and by Saturday evening, 22 cupcakes had already found homes."

🍪 Cookies & Cream:
"Found homes? You're talking like an animal shelter."

🍍 Tropical Twist:
"Sorry. Twenty-two customers recognized greatness."

🍪 Cookies & Cream:
"Interesting choice of words for a cupcake that still has packs sitting on shelves."

🍍 Tropical Twist:
"Interesting choice of criticism from a cupcake that needed an entire Council hearing to defend itself."

🍪 Cookies & Cream:
"That hearing ended in complete vindication."

🍍 Tropical Twist:
"Because the evidence mysteriously disappeared."

At this point Strawberry Crunch requested that both cupcakes stop talking.

📜 OFFICIAL FINDING

The Council recognizes Tropical Twist's debut as a successful launch.

Eleven packs sold during a partial sales week demonstrates strong customer interest and earns Tropical Twist a place among this summer's flavors to watch.

The Council further notes that additional Tropical Twist packs remain available in select stores and a limited number have been prepared for this week's deliveries.

Cookies & Cream has requested that the words "to be continued" be added to this report.

The Council has reluctantly agreed.

Tropical Twist has officially made its debut!

Now before anyone asks where the sprinkles are, where the candy pieces are, or where the extra decorations might be, Tropical Twist would like to issue the following statement:

"Have you seen this frosting swirl?"

Featuring pineapple cake, pineapple-orange whipped frosting, and bits of crushed pineapple, this sunshine-inspired cupcake has arrived with all the confidence of someone who knows they don't need to do too much.

In fact, when questioned by the Cupcake Council about its lack of additional toppings, Tropical Twist reportedly responded:

"I'm the decoration." 🍍👑

And honestly... the Exquisites already know.

🚨 CUPCAKE COUNCIL OBSERVATION 🚨

A situation has developed in the bakery.

One of the Peach Truck peaches was discovered this morning sitting inside a cupcake liner looking entirely too pleased with itself.

🍑: "Duchess! Look! I am all ready for the Friday Flavor Weekend. I even found my cupcake wrapper. When do we start?"

At this point, the Council was forced to intervene.

🍪 Cookies & Cream: "Sweetheart, that's not how this works."

🍓 Strawberry Crunch: "Nobody told the fruit it had to survive a Council vote first?"

🍌 Banana Pudding: "The confidence is admirable. The qualifications are... pending."

🍑: "But I'm a premium peach!"

🍪 Cookies & Cream: "And I'm a best-selling cupcake. Yet here we are."

🍑: "So you're saying I'm not the Friday flavor?"

🍓 Strawberry Crunch: "We're saying you arrived on Wednesday and already decorated yourself for the promotion."

🍌 Banana Pudding: "Very ambitious behavior."

The Council has not ruled out a peach cupcake in the future.

However, at this time, the peach has been instructed to remove itself from the cupcake liner and return to orientation.

🩷💜🩵 This weekend, we had the honor of creating a very special birthday celebration for Mckenna through Icing Smiles.

When we received Mckenna's wish list, one thing was clear—she wasn't interested in choosing just one favorite. She loves Disney Princesses, mermaids, and unicorns, so we decided her celebration should include all three.

The result was a colorful birthday cake and coordinating cupcakes filled with sparkle, magic, and imagination. From princess-inspired details to mermaid vibes and whimsical unicorn touches, every sweet treat was created with one goal in mind: making Mckenna's birthday feel as special as she is. ✨

As an Icing Smiles Sugar Angel since 2016, opportunities like this remind me why I love what I do. Dessert is more than cake and frosting—sometimes it's a chance to create a moment of joy, a memory, and a reason for a child to smile a little brighter.
