First, I want to congratulate this incredibly cute couple on their wedding day! 💕 It was such an honor not only to be a small part of the festivities, but also to be trusted with creating some of the sweet treats that helped celebrate their special day.
Making this cake was a true first for me.
I've made cakes before, but creating one for such a special occasion carried a different kind of weight. To say I was nervous would be an understatement. Every detail mattered, and I wanted it to be just right.
This order included not only the cake, but a large cupcake display as well, making it the largest order I've taken on so far in this baking adventure. There were moments of second-guessing, moments of learning, long days, and plenty of prayers along the way.
But seeing it all come together reminded me why I love creating beautiful things for life's most meaningful celebrations.
I couldn't be happier with the final result, and I'm incredibly grateful to have been trusted with such an important part of their day. Moments like these remind me how far Still Island Loaf has come and leave me excited to see where this journey leads next.
Thank you Zach and Megan Ellis for supporting me and allowing me to be a part of your memories. Congratulations again to the happy couple, and best wishes for a lifetime of love, laughter, and blessings together. 💕🎂 :::
