This recipe is by Sugar Geek Show She’s my cake bae 🥰 Her yellow cake recipe uses cake flour instead of all purpose as well as the reverse creaming method - which I personally prefer. It makes the cake so much softer and velvety. Her chocolate frosting isn’t the typical buttercream, but uses corn syrup and coffee to enhance the cocoa powder and melted chocolate. I wouldn’t use any other recipe but hers.
