Our Story
I have three daughters and when the third one was fifteen months old I discovered that she was both allergic to peanuts and tree nuts. Although as she has gotten older (currently 10 years old), it is never easy for her to see both her sisters and friends be able to eat all the fun and creative treats provided at school events, parties or even any sweet shop we come across during our travels.
I have always loved to bake and be creative. For our family birthdays, I create custom cakes, cupcakes, etc. since we haven’t been able to find a local bakery in the Madison area that creates treats for individuals with nut allergies.
Recently, I decided to try decorative cookies and made some for the local neighborhood end-of-summer party. They were gone in minutes and everyone was saying that I should “open up shop” and bake for other people. So I thought, “Why not?!”
Although the treats are geared towards providing a beautiful and tasty home-made alternative to those with nut allergies, they are so yummy everyone will love them. Additionally, I make the cookies with high-quality ingredients including U.S. organic flour, sugar, butter and eggs. Plus, these cookies have no preservatives unlike your basic store bought cookie. Each cookie is individually wrapped so as not not come in contact with other food products after it leaves my home.
