One of those cakes I never got around to sharing 💙
This custom two-tier birthday cake was all about a rescue/adventure theme, bright colors, playful details, and a big personality for a very special 4-year-old. From the handmade topper to the little vehicle details around the base, this one was so fun to bring to life.

I’m no longer making cakes, but I’ve been going through old photos and realized there are so many creations I never posted. Baking and decorating for clients was such a meaningful chapter for me, and I still love looking back at the work that once filled my days (and my kitchen).

So here’s to sharing a few favorites—just for the joy of it. 💛🎂

This custom 1967 Pontiac GTO convertible cake was an absolute joy to create — from the deep navy shine to the lit-up details, every element was hand-crafted to celebrate a true car lover’s milestone. And yes… we even customized the license plates. 🚗💙

I had the joy of creating this book cake for an author signing event at The Book Cellar in Lincoln Square, Chicago — celebrating The Hours Are Long but the Pay Is Low by Rob Miller.

From the bold, textured title to the graphic “backstage pass” spine, every detail was crafted to feel like the real book… just a whole lot sweeter. 🎸🍰

Nothing beats bringing a story to life — especially when it’s in cake form.

This No. 50 “Dr. Tiffany” inspired cake brings the style of a signature fragrance to life, complete with deep burgundy roses, golden blooms, and a touch of sparkle.

One of my favorite parts of caking is turning someone’s personality into an edible work of art.

✨ A cake made with so much love ✨
I’ve created many wedding cakes over the years, but making this three-tier buttercream cake for my son Nick and his beautiful bride Anne was something truly special. There’s something incredibly meaningful about watching your child step into this new chapter—Designing and creating this cake for their day was truly one of the sweetest moments of my career. They were married in Nashville, and yes—I packed up this cake and brought it all the way there. (A little road trip with a wedding cake definitely keeps life interesting!)

Nick and Anne, your day was stunning, your love is inspiring, and I am so grateful I got to play this small part in your forever. 🤍✨🍰
