Friends...its been a bit of time! Had such a great experience at Grove Coffee We ordered the Oak Lawn latte and the Mentor latte, and both were absolutely delicious—perfectly crafted and full of flavor. You can really tell they put care into every drink.

We also tried the almond croissant… and let’s just say it didn’t stand a chance—we ate it way too fast to even get a photo 😄 It was that good!

The atmosphere was cozy, inviting, and we met a new friend! Hey Paige ✋🏻

Another lovely local bistro! Genetti Bistro in Palos. Portions are huge, had the smoothest pour over, mushroom quiche, and oatmeal. The owner is extremely kind and welcoming. Come check it out.

I am a little late to the Dubai chocolate party. Cork & Bean Oak Lawn has the best Dubai chocolate latte..got mine with an extra shot of espresso and I will be set for the day. Also, my new fav breakfast sando.. egg and cheese on an English muffin! Where to next...what's everyone's fav cafe (don't drop the big names they stink)

So as many of you know I have stepped..stepping away from the commercial baking world - a place that brought me TONS of joy, creativity and connections. Truly blessed. Now I get to support cafes from the other side of the counter.

However, I will always hold a very special place in my heart for local and small businesses..when you shop a small business you are not just grabbing a cup of coffee or a pastry. You are supporting someone's dream, and supporting your neighborhood.

Ok so don't be mad at me but I got a sneak peak Azucar & Canela ... YES the bakery that will soon be open at 104th and Kedzie! Let me tell you the coffee to die for! Pastries AHHHMAZING! And the owners could not be more lovely. I am beyond excited for them to open..make sure to follow them for up to date information.

Oktoberfest vibes will abound when the Tinley Park Fall Farmers Market returns from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 in Zabrocki Plaza, 17375 S. Oak Park Ave.

Attendees can listen to music by by the Deutsch Meisters from 8:30 a.m. to noon🎵 while they shop for deals on:
🌭 Brats and sausages at both WonderPork and Farmer Nicks
🥨Oversized pretzels, regular pretzels and pretzel buns from Buttercrumb Bakery
🧀German cheese from Stamper Cheese;
🍿Caramel popcorn from Augies Kettle Corn
🥞& special flavors at For Crepes Sake

The morning also will include Family Yoga from 8 to 9 a.m.
