~The peanut butter knife sports a short-bladed, long-handled design so you can keep your fingers clean while digging at the bottom of the jar.

The tip of the knife also has an angled flat to better scrape the bottom clean! Pretty nifty if I do say so myself.

Also, if you don’t do it already, make your own peanut butter. It takes weeks for any kind of oil separation to occur so there isn’t the awful chore of mixing it in (unlike the natural peanut butters you get on the store shelf), you can sweeten it if you want to with whatever sugar or sugar substitute you prefer, and it’s usually cheaper to boot! I simply put 1 1/2 pounds of dry roasted, unsalted peanuts into my blender and let her rip.

My thinking is that if it split this unpredictably, then it would have been a BEAR to carve. So I’m good with it!

~September’s basket is constructed from a combination of pine needles and a bowl gourd, the result of which I am so thrilled!

Standing 6 1/4” high (including the stem handle) and measuring 5” in diameter this basket will add intrigue to any bookshelf, nightstand, entry table, or dresser.

Inside, it measures 3” deep and 4 1/2” wide making the capacity within the basket much more impressive thanks to the tall walls.
