Friends and family of Greeneman Farms,

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved owner, Jerry Greene. He passed peacefully surrounded by family on 02/06/2021. Please keep his friends and family in mind during this time.
Thank you ALL for loving and supporting Greenie. He loved and appreciated each and everyone one of you.
He will be greatly missed.

A parsnips soup recipe for you on this rainy week here in Charlotte, NC! Yet again, our honey is an ingredient and adds the perfect sweetness to balance all the flavor. Contact us for your honey today!

Roasted parsnips soup:
2 pounds parsnips, peeled and quartered lengthwise
1/4 cup vegetable oil
3 teaspoons salt, divided
6 tablespoons honey, divided
6 cups water
1 bunch parsley
1 carrot, cut in 1/2
1 small onion
2 bay leaves
1/2 teaspoon black peppercorns
2 teaspoons white pepper
3 cups heavy cream

1 quart chicken stock
3 medium sweet potatoes
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon pureed chipotle pepper
