A new decade is on the horizon and I’ve just got some things I’d like to say... It’s no secret that Kakes by Kas has been quiet.. and has lost a bit of momentum over the last year. As difficult as it is to admit, I’ve been stuck in an inconsistent cycle. I struggled personally (mental, physical, emotional), socially, even professionally. This has left my creativity blocked and the confidence I had in my work hit an all time low. And to throw balancing becoming a new mom / postpartum and jumping back into my full time career at an elevated level into the mix as I try to sort all of my other issues out.. my passion unfortunately just took the seat furthest back. 💔
I say all of this to say that as this year comes to a close, I am ETERNALLY thankful to my friends, family, and you all, my clients for your constant support, feedback, and opportunities. As we approach the end of 2019, I am finally beginning to feel like myself.. the positivity, creative juices, and balance are finding me once again and I am feeling more motivated than ever. There’s a new wave approaching and I’m feeling charged up! 🗣 While I am more than happy to accept any orders during this time, I will be taking the rest of this year to prepare the next phase of sweet finesse that I plan on bringing to you. Without y’all.. there’s no me and I can’t wait to truly get back to work..because maaaaaan, 2020 is the year of the V I S I O N! All that being said.. Here’s to Kakes by Kas, my favorite people (Y’ALL!), fresh starts, the sweetest treats, and the art of pastry finesse! 🥳
