When seconds matter, the police are always minutes away. Unless you are in Rock Hill, SC where this man shot into his gf's home, and left. She was told by police they couldn't send anyone out until Monday (this was Saturday). He returns to the home Saturday night and kills her in the front yard.

While this absolutely should have been prioritized by police, and they absolutely need to be held accountable...this is why we do not put our faith in police coming to save us. SC has the castle doctrine which allows you to use deadly force if someone is trying to forcefully enter your home (and in this case shooting directly into your front door). The victim was a 19 year old girl. I wish she had had the proper training and tools to protect herself. The wrong person is at the morgue.

If you are not comfortable with a firearm, please come see me. I can train you, and if I'm not close enough to you, I can absolutely get you in contact with a great instructor in your area. Do not depend on the police to come save you. Protect yourself first, always!
