Seriously!?!? I couldn’t be happier that our local food hall, Optimist Hall, is getting Ethiopian food!! This Villa Heights household is coming your way…

⭐️Grand Opening ⭐️ We are thrilled to announce is opening its location here at Optimist Hall this Sunday, May 22! This is our 27th tenant and the final piece of the puzzle in our food stall corridor.

Bringing East African flare to our diverse food landscape, this will be Enat’s second Charlotte location. Their first has been a mainstay in Plaza Midwood since 2017!

Enat means mother in Amharic (one of the many languages of Ethiopia) and with Enat, owner Tina Tedla honors her mother’s encouragement and shares some of her recipes. We can’t wait for you to taste her cuisine beginning this Sunday!

Can we talk about real quick?!
Listen, The last thing I thought Plaza Midwood needed was another pizza spot, BUT DAMN!
I believe that’s the best dish pizza I’ve ever had. The Colony; pickled jalapeño, pepperoni, & a drizzle of honey 😋 salty sweet and spicy. It was perfect.
While we chatted, we munched on the seared cauliflower with pinenuts and golden raisins. The hibiscus punch was the perfect pairing if you’re into tequila.
The atmosphere was lively and the wait staff was exceptional. 5x⭐️! We’ll be back :)

Secret low traffic brunch spot!
Tucked in behind NoDa, amazing bakery and local fare, craft beer and specialty wines, but also a BANGIN’ spot for brunch.
Kickin’ Chicken Sandwhich with hot sauce, can you have it Bacon Egg and Cheese on homemade English Muffin…and Bubble And Squeak Boxty Benny - House Made Bubble and Squeak Hashbrown Boxty, House Cured Salmon, Two Poached Eggs, Hollandaise, Scallions, Micro Greens.
The Breakfast Burrito was 😘

Highly recommend ‘The New Classic’ - avocado, Grier, sunny side up egg, marinated kale, cashew mayo on a union special brioche bun 🤤
There overnight oats are extraordinary. Throw in a hot pink smoothie and you’re set.
