Inspired by a custom cake order I’m working on… and y’all, this one is my new favorite. Tops the blueberry lemon cream for me.

Maycember is here…

Between teacher gifts, graduations, recitals, birthdays, end-of-season sports celebrations, and the *few* moments in between, this month is a wild one. I wanted this batch to feel classic and easy to love.

Mother’s Day orders are heading out. My kitchen is full, my heart is full, and - let’s be real - so is my belly 😉

April was a pretty special month! Thanks to your support, cupcake orders, our Lake James Dragon Boat Festival fundraiser, and some incredibly generous hearts, Pick Me Up Creations was able to raise nearly $500 for our local breast cancer community 🥹

Benefiting:
• Healing Dragons of Charlotte
• Pink Ribbon Gals Foundation
• Carolina Breast Friends

A sweet customer also purchased a Pay It Forward box for a family who could use a little comfort right now. This is exactly the sort of kindness Pick Me Up was created for.

Pick Me Up was founded from a deeply personal place… from learning firsthand how the little things can mean so much during life’s hardest seasons. It’s about more than cupcakes. It’s about connection, kindness, giving back, and hopefully being a little pick-me-up when someone needs it most.

But life is busy this time of year (and if I’m being honest, I’m one of the last-minute people too 😊), so I’ve decided to keep orders open through Sunday evening.
