The longer I do markets, the more I’ve learned to stop overthinking every little thing. 😂
🍪 How many cookies to bring — You can plan based on past markets, weather, foot traffic… all the things. And somehow, a market can still completely surprise you.
🍪 If every flavor will sell equally — They won’t. 😂 There’s almost always a clear favorite, and sometimes a flavor you thought would fly ends up coming home with you.
🍪 Talking to every person who walks by — I used to feel like I needed to say something to everyone. Now I’ve learned that sometimes people just want to look! A friendly hello and giving them a little space is enough.
Every market is different, and I think a lot of it is just learning as you go and figuring out what works for you.
Fellow market vendors — what’s something you’ve stopped overthinking?
