As much as I was not ready for this, it was time to step out of my comfort zone. And I’m so GLAD I did!

Took in my very FIRST cake order!!! A German Chocolate Cake was requested so here is what I did -

Baked two 9 inch chocolate fudge cakes. Layered these two cakes with the coconut filling and frosted the whole cake in my whipped chocolate ganache frosting. Added a dripped chocolate ganache all the way around on top and then more of the coconut filling! Did final touches and here is the final product!!!!!

I am still in shock of how AMAZING this turned out. Customer was EXTREMELY happy with this cake, as was I!!
This cake was seriously so fun! Enjoy all the pictures!! 😍

Happy Sunday! I hope you all didn’t get too much storm damage last night!!

I have 4 cute little babies that need to find a new home ASAP!!!!

They just turned 5 weeks old on Tuesday. They are eating solids, drinking water/milk and using the litter box.

2 males
2 females

I need them to go to a GOOD home. Someone who will love on them and actually take care of them.

Lots of hours in the kitchen the past few days!! Between farmers market, cupcakes for a baby shower, and sugar cookies for a ball tournament, it ended up being a GREAT week!! Tried a couple new things I’ve never done before and ended up learning quite a bit!!

If any of you know my family then you are probably aware that we have a couple racers!! And one of those racers is expecting a little soon, so of course we had to do racing themed CUPCAKES for the shower!!! Inspo pic was sent and I think we nailed it!! I did chocolate and vanilla cupcakes and what was supposed to be chocolate buttercream ended up being more of a whipped chocolate ganache. Frosting ( which was a 20/10 ) and then dipped in a thinner consistency of chocolate ganache. They turned out so GOOD!!!

Also had an out of town order for some softball cookies!! Chanute was suppose to have ball tournaments today but due to weather they were cancelled. But these will make the perfect snack for this weeks practice!! So cute!!
