I think the YMCA Boo Bash was a HUGE success. I not only met many locals (who love cookies it seems), but also met many local businesses ! Here are a few pics of the booth if you missed it (check out ALL of those cookies).

I kept the trays filled, and came home with many cookies, but I think I overbaked ... Not sure !! LOL

And I had some help from my "friends" = Don't worry, they did not eat any of my cookies ! My family, on the other hand, helped out AND ate many cookies !

If you are in the Defiance area this weekend, come check out Dana's Delights at the Defiance YMCA Indoor Boo Bash from 4 pm to 6 pm !

I have been baking all week, and have almost 900 cookies to show for it !! :) I will be bringing Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies, Pancake Cookies and Buckeyes !!

WOW !! You know you are artistic when you enjoy painting ... and painting ... and painting ... as much as you do baking. Don't get me wrong, I want to get back into the kitchen and bake, but I need some inspiration ... and some more TIME !! HAHAHAH

My neighbor gave me tons of Zucchini. That means baking Zucchini bread ... but I can't find my loaf pans yet, so instead, I made Zucchini Muffins !!

OMG !! Baked some with Raisins, some with Chocolate Chips, and the latest batch was with Cream Cheese Chips !! So far, the latest batch has been everyone's favorite !

I have my new number listed, and received my new business cards today !! Let the baking commence ! Well, maybe once I find my oven under all of these boxes !! LOL

Yes, the new phone number is correct, but we have not found the phones in the hundreds of boxes we have not unpacked yet !! :)

Tried a new recipe (twice), and the second time my kids couldn't keep their fingers out of the batter, so I lost about 1-1/2 dozen cookies.

Then after baking half of the recipe, they were gone within an hour !! This tells me ..... KEEPER !!

Introducing "Pancake Cookies"

05/25/2026

I am back at it !! Never a dull moment in my kitchen ! HA

I just finished baking 144 cookies for the last Chess Club meeting for this year (maybe they won't miss a dozen). On to the cookies I need to bake for the last Knitting Club meeting.

What a sad, but delicious last week of school !!
