Some of you asked for recommendations for other sourdough home/cottage bakeries. Here are a few places I recommend:

with_love_sourdough - located here in Centerville, this bakery offers unique boxes on holidays, and delicious breads made from organic flour.

Angels Sourdough - another great cottage bakery located in Centerville offering a variety of delicious sourdough breads. Her english muffins are amazing!

goodhandsbreadco - this bakery is SO close to opening their own shop in downtown Dayton, but are currently at 2nd Street Market. If you liked the whole grain taste my bread offered, this is the place to go! He also uses branstratorfarm locally grown and milled wheat!

Any one of these will be a great option based on your taste preferences and location!

I have made the difficult decision to close my small bakery in August. It was not easy for me to admit that I have too much going on and I need to step back from something. Especially, when it’s something I started from the ground up. I wanted to thank each and every one of you that ordered from me and supported me throughout the last three years. Thank you for allowing me to share my passion in baking healthy breads. I enjoyed partnering with local businesses and farmers to give you the best quality products. I learned a lot about different types of wheat and how to properly bake with them. I especially enjoyed the community. I will miss it all.

I’m sure many of you have noticed I’ve been quiet these past few months. I went back to school and life got busy, but I’m finishing soon! 🎉 I don’t know what baking will look like after the summer but, I’m still taking small orders and will increase order numbers after I graduate.

Menu update!

Orders are now open! There is a slight change in pricing. All medium sized flavored loaves are $9 and large sized flavored loaves are $12. I will be posting an updated menu later today.

Orders placed today (1/7) and tomorrow (1/8) will be ready for a Friday pick up. If you place n order after tomorrow, it will be ready Wednesday, 1/15.
