Cupcakes have been used to celebrate Super Bowl games, including as a pre-celebration for a team's win and to support a team's colors. Cupcakes have also been used to create recipes that represent Super Bowl teams.

Fun fact: although I am questioning this one as a fact.

The record for eating the most cupcakes in the shortest time is 29 cupcakes in 30 seconds!

The first cupcake recipe was published in a cookbook in 1796. Before the invention of the muffin tin, cupcakes were baked in teacups, ramekins, or pots.
