Hi everyone,
Thank you for your continuous support throughout the creation of Sunsets n' Sweet Tooths. I'd like to take the time to provide you all with a bit of a background story on how this all got started and share with those who may not read it to the end that I, Kara, am the sole owner and am continuing the business on my own. So please take the time to read all the way to the end to hear the full story! For those who have followed Sunsets n' Sweet Tooths from the beginning, the business was founded by two best friends, Megan and I (Kara). We officially started selling in October of 2022 in several markets and throughout the entirety of senior year, by the grace of the school administrators lol. They allowed us to do our thing and get our name out there, which I will forever be grateful for. The simple act of allowing us to lug around big cardboard boxes of treats from class to class not only gave us confidence but truly did cultivate a reputation for us. Seeing the smiles on kids' faces when we brought our infamous chocolate covered pretzels or cinnamon cake pops is a memory that will forever stay in my heart. These were the humble beginnings of a beautiful journey. While doors may close and new ones open, life's journey is evergoing. Come summer of 2023 many opportunities arose, and seasons came to a close. Trying to navigate through life itself, many hard decisions were made and exciting ones as well. The mutual decision was made to put a pause on being business partners. Megan moved to Indianapolis to explore the art of Culinary and Pastries and further her education. On the other hand, I stayed home and decided to continue the business on my own and become its sole owner. While plans altered from our expectations, we both are growing in our lives and continuing on what God has in store for us. Again, thank you for all of your continuous support and for embarking on this exciting journey of Sunsets n' Sweet Tooths!

Looking for an event to go to tomorrow?? Come out to Tulip Tree Gardens and support some local businesses including myself! It goes from 4pm to 8pm. A few vendors include food, massages, artisans and more.

Happy Birthday to Marsha!!! I had the honor of attending her birthday celebration on Sunday and making her cake! This was an 8 inch pumpkin cake with cream cheese filling. We went for a naked cake design with her favorite color - blue - with some gold accents.

Looking for a fall event to go to?? Come check out the OktoBratFest hosted by 2 Old Goats Market on Saturday, October 7th from 10 - 5pm. Sunsets & Sweet Tooths will be there as well as many other small businesses!! 2 Old Goats Market has
expanded the event for its vendors which will be inside at Halls Of Justice.
The Fall Festivities with food, antiques & other will take place at
2 Old Goats Market.
