Update on Little Cookie Bakery:

We will not be vendors for the 2026 Cedar Falls Farmers Market season.

After careful consideration, we’ve decided to put this chapter of the business on pause. Chef Henry has become a very busy high schooler with all the activities he’s involved in. I’m away at college and unable to provide the help I once could. Trying to balance it all makes it difficult to run Little Cookie Bakery at the level we want.

I’d like to thank all the support we’ve had over the past 7 years at the market. From our loyal customers, fellow vendors, and everyone in between, thank you for all the love you’ve provided. What started as a little kid’s dream grew to something bigger than what we could’ve imagined. Thank you all.

If you’re ever in desperate need of cookies, I’m sure chef Henry can help.

A note from the mom:

Thank you so much for supporting our kids and their cookie business. When Henry was 8 he was determined he could open a storefront. So we compromised by applying to the farmers market. I really didn’t know what to except or how people would react to an 8 year old and his 11 year old sister selling cookies they made at the market. But you all made them feel welcomed and appreciated. Now 7 seasons later you still appreciate these kids and bring them joy by loving their cookies and complimenting their drive and entrepreneurial spirit.

With the Chef being a crazy busy high schooler and his sister away at college we don’t know what next season will bring. We aren’t sure we can keep up the demands of baking while also pursing all the things he wants to try in high school. So I am taking the opportunity to say thank you for supporting them, and making this dream of Henry’s possible for so many years.

And if you are craving one of his cookies feel free to reach out because I’m sure he will still be baking.

As we reach October and the final stretch of the season our last market will be October 18th but we will NOT be around next week, October 11th. Thank you for your understanding!
