Welcome, Friends

Here, at Mattson’s, we operate a wholesome little cottage kitchen of fresh bespoke desserts and baked goods. In the beautiful Roanoke Valley of Virginia’s Blue Ridge mountains, we make the familiar, and traditional dishes you love from scratch - with an English touch, German experience, and the study of La cuisine Français.

You might notice: we have a different flair than other bakeries - we can’t help it...a nice presentation is our thing. As for our products, Mattson’s desserts are made to order. We know you want only the freshest ingredients, and that's why we use eggs from local farmers. Whole milk and heavy creams are a staple in our kitchen, and we often use organic ingredients when available, to include our flour.

For new “hellos”.... Have you found us via another business’s Instagram feed? Maybe you stumbled upon our page by way of a friend’s recent like(?)...well, we’re here for you too.
