Huge THANK YOU to everyone who bought a Love Bowl or LGBTQ+ sticker this past month from and !! With your help, we were able to donate over $1,600 to PFLAG Cape Cod !!!

Although June has come and gone we hope our community continues to live colorfully, stand up as allies, and show support to our LGBTQ+ friends, family, and neighbors. Pride Month may be over but the work and the celebrations must continue so that one day we will live in a world where everyone is celebrated for who they are. A world where living and taking up space authentically is possible and protected. Here at The Brew & The Stand we strive to create and provide a safe space for all (yes, even the tourists 😉). As a woman owned business, this past month has been difficult and has at times made us feel sad and angry but with Pride we were able to celebrate moments of beauty and hopefulness too. We’ve come so far but we've got SO far to go!!!

To the LGBTQ+, the women, and all of the marginalized members of our community: We love you, we see you and we support you. And we will continue to fight for you and alongside you.

Our friends at The Stand and Daily Brew are at it again! In celebration of Pride Month, and to spread the message of love, The Stand is once again featuring their "Love Bowl" all month long! Made of açaí topped with strawberries, pineapple, kiwi, blueberries, and honey, 50% of the Love Bowl's proceeds will go to PFLAG Cape Cod!​ At Daily Brew, they’ll be selling pride stickers all month long, with 50% of the proceeds going to PFLAG Cape Cod!

After being closed for a day and a half due to staffing we are sorry to deliver some more Grinchy news!!

We just learned that a staff member has tested positive for COVID. As a close knit group and family business and out of an abundance of caution we are going to close for the foreseeable future until we can all safely return to safely serve you. açaí topped with papaya coconut granola, strawberries, banana, goji berries and honey 😋

We will be offering The Chart Bowl for the entire month of August with 50% of the proceeds going to The CHART Team whose mission is to reduce opioid overdoses and deaths in our community. Yes, you read that right. OUR community.

Our very own Massachusetts is ranked among the top 10 states with the highest rates of opioid overdose deaths. Most recently, the pandemic has put particular stress on people in the recovery community and those struggling with opioid use disorder.

The CHART Team is working hard to increase access to important healthcare resources, provide recovery support services to help high-risk individuals engage and stay in substance use disorder treatment, increase access to NARCAN®, and reduce barriers to care for people who use drugs and have a substance use disorder.

This program is part of the Bourne and Sandwich HEALing Communities Study-Massachusetts Coalition, convened by Boston Medical Center and sponsored by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). ANNOUNCING "THE BIG ASK" TO RAISE FUNDS FOR BAXENDALE WOODS.

The BCT has a big opportunity to purchase 18 acres of undeveloped property and save wildlife habitat in Bourne.

Over the next few months we'll be posting information about this—the flora and fauna, the history of the property, and what we intend to do with it.

To take advantage of this big opportunity, we'll need your help to raise $3,000,000 to purchase the property.

Some early generous donors have contributed $686,500 for far—$436,500 in hand, and $250,000 pledged. That leaves $2,313,500 to go. By October 21.

We encourage you to share these posts as often as possible to help extend our reach to potential donors. We'll also be updating you on our progress.
