Allexus has come so far in the 4 years I’ve known her. That’s the thing about running these types of kitchens. You’re able to loosen the reigns and see how high someone will jump & how far they will run for you, especially when it matters. Oh, it’s mattered in 2021 let me tell you.
We definitely had our fair share of struggles, both personally and professionally. But Allexus is a fighter, never asked for too much. Didn’t come from a privileged past, so she fought for every advance. Always tried to impress me in a subtle but deserved way.
In February of this year, she really stepped up for me and the bakery. I was being pulled in a million directions and needed someone to lean on…HARD.
Not only did she step into the role, she stepped OVER it. I will forever be grateful for you Allexus, you know all the reasons why.
While I don’t know where the future will guide you, I know wherever you choose to fly can & will be successful. Just keep that focus on showing up, even when it hurts. Even when that voice tells you to quit and this is “too hard.” F that voice girl.
You can achieve anything if you focus on yourself and your goals. Stay the course.
