During & after stripping and sanding because I decided I absolutely hated the stain I did 🥲 I don't have a before bc once I seen it finished I said "ew."
The white over the dark stain ended up looking weirdly moldy instead of the cozy rustic vibe I was going for.

So naturally I chose violence, stripped it all down, and started over 💀✨

I'll be finishing this tomorrow and we'll have her up this weekend stocked full of baked goods Grande Shops 🥰

I still have some sanding to do before I restain it but we're almost there! 🤩🥳

To everyone patiently waiting for the Crumbs by Jessie baker’s rack reveal… I owe you an apology and a tiny life update from the land of Cozy + Chaos™️ 🥲🍪

The rack is not finished yet.

Within a short span of time we lost our hamster, our fish, our chicken, and one of our cats has decided to start scaring us with respiratory symptoms that home remedies just are not touching, so we have a vet appointment tomorrow.

Between that, running businesses nonstop, being a mom, being a wife, trying to keep up with orders, store responsibilities, paperwork, cleaning, laundry mountains that regenerate overnight like a video game boss… your girl is hanging on by a whisk and a prayer right now. 😭

I know some of you have been super excited for the new setup and trust me, nobody is more frustrated than I am. I’ve poured so much love into this little dream, and it’s hard feeling like I can’t move as fast as my brain wants to.

But I also know life sometimes demands you pause and take care of the living things relying on you first. Even when the to-do list is screaming. Even when your shoulders feel like they’re carrying an entire Costco pallet of responsibilities.

Thank you for sticking around while I navigate one of the messier chapters behind the scenes. Crumbs by Jessie is still here. I’m still baking. I’m still trying. The baker’s rack WILL happen. It’s just taking a little longer because life decided to hit shuffle on hard mode this past week.

Thank you for the patience, support, kindness, and understanding more than you know. 🩷

First this on so many pieces I pulled and then I waited about 20 minutes to be told the saw was broken 🥲 at least the employees were kind despite seeming like they felt defeated. Maybe they're understaffed and looking to hire? 🤔
Either way looks like I'm busting out my saw today 🥴 hopefully I'll have everything ready to stock this new rack on Sunday 🥰
