Just giving another big thank you to my amazing neighbors for providing Barred & Bread with beautiful and delicious farm fresh eggs all summer long! Yes those are goose eggs up top and we’re not afraid to use them!

A little bakers tip:

1 goose 🪿 egg 🥚 = 2 large chicken 🐓 eggs 🥚

Plus, with more yolk to egg white, goose eggs provide baked goods with a much richer texture!

🦉Mark you calendars because Barred & Bread will be squeezing in an extra mini drop this Wednesday 6/10 at Primitive Pickings - NH

As you know, I’ll be taking some personal time off this weekend so the next full bread drop won’t be until 6/20.

I know it seems so far away so to make up for my absence I’ll be making this mini drop extra sweet with some of our best sweet selections! Here’s what’s coming:

🥮 12 Kanelbullar
🍪💚 3 Pistachio Chocolate Chip Cookie 2-packs & 1 3-pack

Wednesday is just the day for that mid-week pick-me-up! So we’ll be making it a delicious one! I’ll be there with the goods on Wednesday 6/10 at 10am! I hope this keeps everyone happily hooting until we return! 🦉🖤🦉🖤🦉

Thanks to everyone who came out to porch pickup! The quality and deliciousness our bread and goodies are sure more reliable than the weather was today! It was nice to see the sun come out later though! I hope our baked goods make your weekend a yummy one!

I’ll be taking next weekend off for some personal time but I’m thinking about squeezing in a mini drop at Primitive Pickings - NH on Wednesday 6/10 just for the heck of it! I’ll keep everyone posted on that! Till then have a yummy lovely weekend, bread lovers! 🦉🍞🖤
