A few years ago, my husband took me to Paris, and one of my favorite food memories was discovering the simple sandwiches the French make with their baguettes.

Just a fresh baguette, a layer of creamy butter, and thinly sliced ham. That’s it.

Simple ingredients, yet absolutely amazing. 🇫🇷🥖

There’s something special about letting quality ingredients shine without all the extras. Every time I bake a fresh baguette at The Wild Crumb, it reminds me of those little Paris cafés and the beauty of simple, handcrafted food.

I’ve been doing some recipe testing to possibly add to my menu but haven’t made any decisions yet.
