🥖 Sunday Meal Prep + Bakery Prep! 🥖
When you have a busy micro bakery, meal prepping on Sundays is a must! It makes the week run so much smoother—especially when there’s a whole lot of sourdough baking ahead! ❤️
This week’s breakfast is chorizo & eggs with warm corn tortillas and a little cheese on top. 😋 My husband also loves overnight oats, especially with how hot it’s been! I made four blueberry and two blueberry with banana. They’re made with whole milk, oats, chia seeds, cinnamon, walnuts or slivered almonds, maple syrup, vanilla, and a pinch of salt. So simple, but SO flavorful!
For lunch, we have turkey wraps. Hubby’s favorite is a sun-dried tomato tortilla with pesto, turkey, mozzarella, and lettuce. Mine is a regular tortilla with turkey, mozzarella, arugula, a drizzle of olive oil, and a little freshly squeezed lemon juice. I normally add fire-roasted red peppers, but apparently I forgot to put those on the grocery list this week. 😂
Of course, we also have plenty of fresh veggies and fruit washed and ready to grab throughout the week. 🍓🥒🍇
For dinner, we have pasta with a spicy marinara, and tonight the hubby is in charge—which means dinner will most likely involve either the barbecue pit or the fryer. 😂 I’m not complaining!
Now that our meals are ready, it’s time for me to switch into bakery mode and start prepping for Friday’s market. I have LOTS of sourdough breads and pastries to make this week! 🥐🍞
Have a wonderful Sunday, friends! ❤️ I hope to see you Friday at Cottle Farmstead in Uvalde! Come hungry and ready to shop local! 🌾💕
