Cakes By Katie is an independent baker in Dover, DE, specializing in custom cakes and other desserts, crafted in her home kitchen. Katie Stockslager first learned the art of making cakes at Half Baked Patisserie in Middletown, DE, where she became Head Cake Artist before the pandemic. As time passed, she felt the itch for a creative outlet apart from her 9-5 corporate job. Then, Cakes By Katie was born in 2025: a sweet return to her passion.

Grandma’s partyin’ tonight 💃✨🌹

This Cannoli cake is all dressed up! Baked with mini chocolate chips and scratch-made cinnamon streusel, wrapped in a cinnamon mascarpone buttercream. Yeah, it’s that good.

Someone’s getting MARRIED 💍

It’s not me. But you know what I’M saying yes to? This cake. All of it.

Every little leaf and petal was hand-piped in buttercream, one by one.

A whole FLOWER GARDEN turned into a cake. I do not object to that. 🌹
