A beautiful shade of deep burgundy and heart-shaped were the basic design requests … the gold and flowers just seemed to fit perfectly for an 18th birthday celebration! Chocolate cake filled with layers of homemade sweet/tart raspberry mousse.

That’s right, baby… “witches never age”!
Loved creating this fun cake for a new client’s birthday celebration. Her request was for green (favorite color), with a celestial feel (I added edible gold “splatter” for stars and gold moons) She also loved the quote about witches, so, ✅ 🧙

I know, this isn’t sweet stuff, but occasionally I go back to my roots of where I began my journey in the culinary world … as a caterer of small events featuring savory items.

This was a delightful charcuterie spread that was to be enjoyed at a 45th high school reunion for Salem Washington Academy today! Thanks Jeannie!
