Pumpkin season is here, and we'd love to share a delicious recipe with you, of our home-made sourdough pumpkin pancakes. 🎃 🥞
Ingredients:
120g sourdough (active or discard)
300g milk
2 eggs
1 cup pumpkin puree
1 tsp vanilla extract (oprional)
50g melted butter and some for the pan
225g flour
30g sugar
1 tbsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
Pinch of nutmeg
Method:
Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl and mix all the wet ingredients in another bowl (except the butter). It's best if the milk is luke warm. Give the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix everything smooth but don't over mix, so the pancakes stay fluffy. Fold in the melted butter.
Heat your pan (I use a cast iron pan) over medium heat, melt in a bit of butter and scoop the pancake batter into the pan. Cook on each side.
Serve it warm with bananas, maple syrup, or cinnamon butter. Enjoy! Hope you'll give this recipe a try. 😋

Inspired by Madeleine - banana bread & chocolate chip scones. It smells and tastes divine. 😉

3 ingredients home-made ice cream! 😋 No artificial colors or additives! And the topping is optional. Here is how to make it:

- 1 liter heavy cream
- 1 can condensed milk
- mini chocolate chips (optional)

Method: Whip the very cold heavy cream. Start slow and gradually go higher on speed until whipped lightly fluff. Add the condensed milk until nicely combined, then add the mini chocolate chip (optional). Put the mixture in a piping bag and fill your cups.

It makes about 24 ice cream cups.
Freeze for at least 3-4 hours.
Enjoy!
