A difficult update:

Broken Oak Acres Farm Stand is temporarily closed due to multiple recent thefts. Because of this, while the farm stand is closed, I will not have Riverhouse items regularly available on the shelves, and I will not be stocking the stand on Saturdays as I normally do.

I do have a few special orders already placed for this Saturday, September 19th, and those orders will be honored & fulfilled as normal. For the time being, I have also closed special ordering until we have a better idea of when and how the farm stand can reopen.

This one is especially hard for me because I have truly loved and cherished this little farm stand, and over time, it has become a second home to Riverhouse. I am incredibly grateful for every customer who has stopped by, purchased my bread, supported my small business, and supported the many other local vendors who share this space.

It’s heartbreaking to see something that has been such a wonderful system for our community disrupted because of the actions of a few.

Broken Oak Acres has shared that their next planned open date will be October 3rd for their pumpkin patch, and we'll be back right there along with them. 🎃

Thank you to everyone who has supported Riverhouse and Broken Oak Acres. Your kindness, purchases, encouragement, and continued support truly mean more than you know. 🤎

In the meantime, if you'd like Riverhouse goods, you can find them at our other locations (see the 'Where to Find Us' post tagged at the top of our page)

A little special order that felt extra sweet.

My friend, asked me to make her daughter’s birthday cake, and it turned into the prettiest little spring celebration. Peach cake layered with cinnamon frosting, topped with edible flowers she handpicked from her flower farm🪻

Soft, cozy, floral, and full of spring flavors. Honestly couldn’t dream up a better birthday cake for this time of year ✨🌸

Happy early birthday to a very loved girl 🤍
