Working on a new recipe , one from my Italian background. So this cake is based from the Italian rainbow cookie , now all of the layers of cake are the same flavor and then using food colors we we got the green and red cakes, but in between, we have surprise layers of some fruits. We made our own special chocolate ganache and our crumble for the top .
At this point will not be a part of our menu ,it was just something to play with , next week we will have a taste testing Hot Springs Arkansas and that will give me an idea of whether or not we should carry it .
I love the rainbow look , but I've also been working on a special cake that has the green and red colors and a different color top layer and I don't want people to get confused .
So lets do the taste testing and go from there . So here are the photos from beginning to end .
