🥳 JUNE SCONES 🥳
June is Kaleb's birthday month so he got to chose the scone flavors this month! He chose Raspberry White Chocolate and Butterscotch! 😋
If you've stopped at my booth at a market, you may have been helped by Kaleb! He's my partner in crime who is always there to man the booth if I need to go grab food, a drink, or use the restroom. 😊
You can grab a scone at Jackrabbit Java any day of the week all month long. You can also preorder scones thru the link in my bio. 🙂

We are Partnering with Desert Dreams Women's Soccer League May 30th-July 18th. They have the Peoria Sports Complex rented out during these weeks so instead of closing the market for 8 weeks, we decided to embrace it because of the added entertainment for our amazing guests!

With this partnership, there is a $5 entry fee which gets you access to the market and the soccer games!

There are a lot of new faces on here, so I thought I'd reintroduce myself & tell you the story of how Sourdough by Hand came about. 🙂
Hi, I'm Michelle 👋🏻 the face behind Sourdough by Hand. I live in Buckeye with my husband of 13 years and our two boys, who I homeschool (you've probably seen them with me at markets 🙂).
About 6 years ago, I started having health issues that caused me to be more mindful of the foods that I was eating, which led me down the sourdough rabbit hole. My first attempt at making sourdough was a complete failure, so I gave up and eventually went completely grain free for a time. A few years passed, and I decided to try my hand at sourdough again, this time around I started having success, and eventually, it became a therapeutic hobby. Watching the dough ferment and change & the loaf come together into a beautiful creation brought me a lot of joy. I loved seeing the excitement in my boys' eyes when they woke up to a freshly baked loaf of bread, and their exclamations of "This is the best bread ever!"
Fast forward a year & I felt God pressing upon my heart to turn my passion for sourdough into a home bakery, so I stepped out in faith & I could have never imagined what the Lord would do in just one year. I have seen Him grow me as a person and a baker & I have met the most incredible people along the way. 🩷 It's my mission to provide nourishing food to my community that also reminds them of God's love for them. 🫶🏻
