The Holiday Market returns for its opening day tomorrow, Friday November 21st! We will be open from 10am to 3pm!

We’ve got a great bunch of returning vendors as well as some newcomers hoping to try it out! Come on down and support local! We’ve got a great selection of handmade goods you won’t be able to find anywhere else.

(And vendors, don’t forget, we’re starting an hour later than regular season so nobody needs to be here for set up prior to 9am!)

Today's wedding cake is a breathtaking masterpiece exuding joy. Billie and I had a blast crafting this exquisite creation! Sugar paste mushrooms and baby's breath blend seamlessly with the delectable edible 'moss'. The lemony lemon cake filled with scrumptious blueberry compote is covered in expertly hand-painted buttercream, a true masterpiece, if i do say so myself! Congratulations Jennie and Joe, may your love be boundless and your life together filled with joy and laughter. 🎂♥️

Yesterday afternoon's class was fin-tastic with Bubbles the Puffer Fish, we learned so many sweet techniques - blown, cast and pulled isomalt, I had a whale of a time! Isn't he fin-credible? I’m in love!

I was too busy having a whale of a time to paint the spots on my mini turtle, so I'll finish him when I get home. This morning's class was a Mini Airbrush Masterclass, where we learned about the inner workings of the airbrush and its various parts. Then we practiced our aim and tried to keep a steady spray - it's harder than it looks! We created an ocean backdrop for our turtle, which I didn't quite finish, but I'm loving the way it's shaping up. I'll complete it at home and share the final picture of it with the turtle.

My mini turtle is still a work in progress, but isn't he ridiculously cute? Tomorrow I'll paint on his spots and give him a glossy coat of glaze, and he'll be perfect!
