I really do think the temperature of the house and outside is causing wonky things to happen. I’m also still tweaking how long I’m baking since I have a gas oven.

My starter is doing amazing things - strong and amazing. This loaf is beautiful. Can’t wait to cut into her tomorrow!!!

Doing something different to prep dough for 6 loaves! Stand mixer - mixing up 3 double batches. Makes the dough so much nicer to work with. I feel like they’re proofing faster.

We’re back! Getting used to a gas oven, so it’ll take a little adjusting I’m sure. So far so good! ❤️

We've been MIA since Mother's Day, but not because we've been binge-watching Netflix (although that does sound tempting). Nope, we've been packing, decluttering, and cleaning like crazy to get our home ready for sale. We've been on the market for a week now, and once we find our dream home (fingers crossed it's out there!), we'll be making the big move by the end of this month. I'm planning to bust out my baking skills again once we're settled into our forever home - stay tuned!

I've been a baking machine the last 2 days. Whipped up 2 loaves of regular sourdough bread (baked in loaf pans) and a double batch of dinner rolls - should have been 24 but I guess my math skills have gone stale.

Can't wait to chow down on those rolls at my Mom's Easter dinner!
