I got asked a lot about what these these cute little 🍊 are made of. These Chinese New Year tangerines contain an orange chocolate truffle middle wrapped in my signature cheesecake, rolled into a squat ball, dipped in vanilla flavored candy melts topped with a fondant stem and leaves. 🤤

Last weekend, we celebrated the birthday of the most amazing and beloved woman in our family — my Grandma. She is loving, selfless, strong, and humble. We are who we are because of you and your unwavering love. We ❤️ you! 😘

This cake is a vanilla sponge with an Oreo buttercream filling, covered in vanilla buttercream. I’m loving the pink-white ombré...and all those hand-piped buttercream blossoms! The two peaches on top symbolize longevity in the Chinese culture. The large one is made of Rice Krispies wrapped in fondant; the little one is all fondant.

This little mermaid cake was made for my dear friend’s little girl who turned 6. She and her lil sis happily ate the extra pieces of sugar shells and seaweed that I had put aside for them to hold them over until they get to bring the cake home to share with the family. 😊 😋 😉 Happy birthday, Sabrina! 🧜‍♀️ 🎂

This is the first time I used molds for the tail, seashells and seahorses. Although, to make the tail fully 3D instead of only one-sided, I had to do some adjusting to make both sides line up and clean up the seam. The frosting is all vanilla buttercream applied with a small spatula to create the effect of waves 🌊. All decorations are made of fondant. The cake is a colorful funfetti sponge.

Pumpkins, for me, are synonymous with Fall. And what better way to celebrate the season than with a pumpkin spice cake in the shape of pumpkins?! 🎃 This was a special order for one of our friendliest neighbors who loves everything pumpkin! She told me she’ll be having a hot cup of pumpkin spice latte with this cake. Enjoy, Ms. Sara! 🍰 What’s your favorite pumpkin flavored item? .
A white pumpkin stands out from the usual orange ones that surround us during this time of year. This cake is two layers of tender pumpkin spice cake covered in cream cheese frosting. 🍁 The colorful leaves are frosting mixed with and painted on the cake board with a small spatula and paint brush. 🎨 The little orange pumpkin is a carved cupcake, also covered in cream cheese frosting. 😋 .

“Just a chocolate cake with strawberry frosting.” That was the request. This is that and a little bit more. Between each layer of cake is a thin layer of homemade 🍓 sauce that added some sweet tartness and a lot of fresh strawberry flavor to the cake. It’s finished with a dark chocolate ganache drip, 🌈 sprinkles, and beautiful fresh 🍓 🍓 🍓. Happy birthday, Chris! 🥳 .

The birthday dude liked the flavor profile in my recent Reese’s cupcake cake so much that he had to have one for himself. 🍰 To add a bit of crunch, this one has mini chocolate chips sprinkled between each layer of moist, decadent chocolate cake separated by cream cheese peanut butter frosting. It is then topped with a chocolate ganache drip, decorated with chocolate cake pop balls, Ferrer Rocher balls, more frosting, and a light touch of crushed Oreo crumbs. 🤤 Happy birthday, PS! Summer may almost be over, but this cake is hanging on with those lush green treetops. Totoro and his crew are here to celebrate Ava as she turns 6! 🥳 🎂 .
The inside is three layers of delicate vanilla cake in Ava’s favorite colors, covered in vanilla buttercream. Totoro and his blue buddy are both Rice Krispies treats wrapped in fondant. All other decorative elements are in fondant. 🥳 .
