Creative Confections is a licensed home bake shop owned by Alicia Russell, located just 13 miles south of Madison, Wisconsin. In addition to over 30 years of experience, Alicia has participated in classes and workshops on Lambeth, Figure Piping and numerous Australian Fondant techniques from internationally recognized cake artists. She is a member of the International Cake Exploration Societe and

regularly participates in their conferences to keep abreast of the latest trends. Alicia is best characterized as a perfectionist. She continues to share her confectionary skills with adults and youth through local classes and workshops.

I am so excited for guests at this upcoming wedding shower to sample the amazing variety of sweets that Jodi ordered! Many hours went into the production of these delicacies but I love the end result. Mini New York cheesecakes with some being topped with raspberry filling. 5 dozen white chocolate dipped strawberries. Snickerdoodle golf ball cake pops and Red Velvet pops with cream cheese chocolate bits and decorated with sparkling sugar. And my absolute favorite is the Cakelettes- all with white and shimmery decor. The flavors were cookie dough, vanilla chiffon with honey lavender filling and cookies and cream with a buttercream filling!!

Delivered a beautiful wedding cake to Monona Terrace yesterday! I hadn’t been there in a few years so it was nice to be there again! Flavors were French Vanilla with Hazelnut Cream Filling and Chocolate Chip with Strawberry Filling. I colored the Sugarpaste Roses to coordinate with the wedding colors.
