One last thing I wanted to share about the other day. ❤️
I debated whether to even post this because I don’t believe every good deed needs to be announced. But because this was YOUR money and YOUR generosity, I wanted you to know where it went.
After the theft, you guys sent more than double what was actually taken — even after I asked you to stop. I kept what covered our actual loss, and the rest was passed along to a family who is going through a really hard time right now.
I know you sent that money because you care about me, Riverside, and seeing this little business continue, and I hope you know how much that means to me. But once our loss was covered, I couldn’t justify keeping the rest when I knew someone else needed it more.
I’m not sharing this for recognition. I’m sharing it because it was your kindness that made it possible. You helped me, and in turn, you helped me help someone else.
That’s something I’ve always wanted Riverside to be about. Yes, it’s my little business, but being able to help others when we can has always mattered to me too.
So really, I just want to say thank you. Thank you for helping me, for caring so much about Riverside, and for unknowingly helping someone else along the way. ❤️
