I know it’s been a while since I’ve been active & I’m excited to be back! I’ve been answering inquiries & emails all week & will continue to finish that up this weekend! If you’re waiting for me, I’ll see you soon 😉❤️

Thank you to everyone that stuck around while I took my little mental health break there, it was honestly very needed and I feel much better about moving forward with some projects I’d previously shelved. Cakes will still be a top priority & I’ll be back to taking on many more orders very soon! Pre-orders for the holidays are coming as well! Keep an eye out for the announcements on that! 🙏🏻

BUT! The cake form is open now! I know I have some inquiries for the upcoming weeks that I should be able to squeeze in so just hang tight while I get through it all! 🙏🏻

Last week someone very dear to me committed suicide😔

Normally baking would be my way to cope but right now I can’t think of anything I’d like to do less.

Similarly, I can’t really think of anything I’d like to do at all. But the looming stress of not answering emails and not doing this/that or having promised *whatever* is keeping me from healing.

I’ve felt this way for quite some time now and have taken many mini vacations to help steer the burn-out in another direction, but I’m realizing now that this is a bigger issue.

I don’t like to put myself on blast like this and normally don’t share memorials as I tend to heal in private, but I feel like I need to for so many reasons. The biggest reason being to spread awareness that anyone can be struggling. 🙏🏻

My mental health & self worth are slowly morphing into something I’m unfamiliar with and quite honestly, I’m unhappy.

I’m eternally grateful for the support you’ve all shown me throughout this journey. I started this business as a way to heal and I want to get it back there.

I’ve always buried myself in work and was convinced from a young age that my value was based in the things I can achieve. NOT in my ability to make others smile or in my ability to make *myself* happy just existing.

My goal for the next year is just to be happy. Even if it means taking some time off and letting some people down.

Because I can’t give you my best when I’m not even giving it to myself.

So if you don’t see me for a while, just say a little prayer for me while I keep on fighting these demons.

And while you’re here, say a big one for and hug the people you love. They may not be here tomorrow. One day you’re laughing/eating cookies together, the next it’s just a memory.

RIP Matthew Tavares. It was an absolute pleasure to know and love you. I’ll see you in our favorite color, my fruity pebble cookies, every firefighter I see, every burnout mark on the road, every episode of the Sopranos, and every gorgeous amethyst crystal. Until our souls meet again, rest easy beautiful 💜🙏🏻

💵 Your order is not BOOKED with me until I have payment in full.

💰You may put down a $100 non refundable retainer to hold my services for a date 2-4 months out if you would like. If you choose this option, details must be ironed out 1 full month in advance.

🧾 I send invoices giving clients 14 days to pay (most shops give 24-48 hours, thank me later).

If your invoice goes unpaid after those 14 days I’m unfortunately unable to accommodate your order.

I know we’ve all got a lot going on right now and things fall through the cracks…

But ya girl has been understanding & 🦆’d 1 too many times.
