A little summer update from the Briar Rose kitchen 🥖🤍

It’s been a LONG summer of baking, experimenting, trying new recipes, tweaking old favorites, and keeping the oven busy! 🥐🍪🍞🥧

And while I may have been slacking just a little on posting… 😅 the baking hasn’t slowed down! Behind the scenes, there have been plenty of loaves, sweet treats, recipe tests, and new ideas coming together.

We’re always open to trying something new, too! 🤍 If there’s a recipe or treat you’d love to see on the menu, send us a DM, email us, or add your request to the order form. We’d love to hear what you’re craving!

These were my very first sourdough loaves, and it’s safe to say I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. 😅

I was just hoping they would turn out somewhat edible. Since then, there have been plenty of successes, plenty of mistakes, and countless lessons learned along the way. That’s one of the things I love most about sourdough—there’s always something new to learn.🍞❤️

Feeling pretty lucky to be the baker… because when the craving for a chocolate croissant hits, I can just bake a whole sourdough loaf inspired by it. Buttery layers, melty chocolate, and a little sourdough magic. 🍫🥐🍞
