What a great weekend. 25 members of the Hungarian Boys Scouts spent a weekend at our house to learn about history, first aid and other important part of life to compete against other troops next weekend in upstate New York! Good luck to them! I got to be the chef and make delicious Gulyas over open fire and I served it with my delicious sourdough bread. Never a boring moment in this household.

Don’t throw away sourdough bread just because the outside is hard. The inside is still soft and it is still healthier than any commercial bread. Put the loaf under running water for a few seconds then re-bake it for 25 minutes at 420 degrees Fahrenheit.
