This business has had seasons.

It started strong. Markets were going well, momentum was real, and I felt aligned. Then life interrupted with a car accident that forced me to slow down, heal, and wait to be cleared. Which seemed like forever.

Holiday orders came in strong! But soon after, one small experience reminded me how easily kindness can be mistaken for access. That moment didn’t break me. It clarified me.

I realized something important. That this was always meant to be a mini dessert business. Whole cakes were a seasonal chapter, not the foundation.

Every pause, pivot, and lesson brought me back to intention.

And I’m still here. Building from the heart, with boundaries, and with purpose. 🤍

2026 is here & my whole cake season is officially wrapped. 🤍

I’ve been doing whole cakes my entire life! But this mini dessert journey started not too long ago with my grandmother’s 80th birthday — over 200 homemade desserts, made straight from the heart. That moment planted the seed for everything I do now.

Fast forward to a 90th birthday… 100 cakes, produced with ease, intention, and far less stress — because growth teaches you how to move differently.

Same love. Same homemade recipes. Still good for the soul. Still many blessings to come. 🙏

Thank you to everyone who supported and enjoyed the whole cakes during the holidays — truly. 🧡

These cakes have been part of so many celebrations, 2 of my mom’s absolute favorites… I’ll never forget the days I created them for her and her first bite reactions!

And now they’ve evolved into perfectly portioned minis:

• Whole Coconut Cake → 2025 mini version
• Whole German Chocolate → 2025 mini version (now offering a nut-free option)

And… a new mini square pan option, crafted with the same care and flavor you love! Perfect size for gift bags, kids parties, or even a certain aesthetic.

Some things change, some stay the same but the love baked into each Sugar Plus Tea cake is never lost.

Grief shows up uninvited, and sometimes it slows everything down.

Life is going to life, but praying, persevering, and creating through it all.
