🍅 There’s still plenty of fresh tomatoes to go around! 🍅 Here is a beautiful Lemon Boy tomato I harvested from my container plant. Hoping for more!🤞🏻
My favorite way to eat freshly sliced tomatoes is with a bit of Aegean Salt blend and freshly cracked black pepper 🤤

So here’s something you didn’t know you needed till now! Handmade mini flour sack towels! 😂
This cute little banner spells out “Thankful” with the “a” replaced by an image of an apple. (This honestly was a screw up with the printers so I had to improvise. But it turned out so cute that it didn’t really matter! 😅)
Each towel measures 2.75”w x 6.5”h (3.25”h folded). The banner comes with twine, 4 mini clothes pins, and 2 bronze eye hook screws for hanging.
Towels are printed and/or cut out of seconds and scrap pieces to save on waste!
Yay mini towels!

First pomegranate of the season! I always look forward to this time of year. For me, opening up a pomegranate is very meditative 🧘🏻‍♀️
Many people find opening a pomegranate tedious and hard to do. I like to slice the top off (flower end), score the sides of the fruit along the ridges, then pry open gently. Now you can easily extract each aril (pomegranate seed). I’ve seen videos of people cutting directly into the fruit and it is not pretty and definitely not my style. It takes some time to extract perfect arils but I think it’s totally worth it.
Do you have a good tip on how to open a pomegranate?

🥕 Update! As the carrots continue to grow, you have to continue to thin them out. This time the carrots that were thinned out were a lot larger then the last time. I’m so excited for what’s to come!

Tiny fall harvest!🥕 Do you grow your own carrots?? 🥕 If you do, you know that homegrown carrots are the best thing in the world. Better then anything you buy at the store. But you do have to thin them out once they start sprouting so that they don’t crowd each other. Here are some thinned out baby carrots that my neighbor shared with me from the community garden. I tried growing carrots earlier this summer but due to some bug infestation, nothing grew. Glad to see that something is finally growing!

Seeing this little cutie pie Levi in one of my totes brightened my day!!

In another blink of an eye the ☀️ summer is quickly marching into 🍁 fall. Sadly most markets are still cancelled through the next few months (and most likely for the rest of the year). But I am trying to make the most of my time working on pivoting my business and working on new ideas. More to come...

Life is moving ahead with or without us. I’m taking it one day at a time but in the blink of an eye it’s May. It’s been hard to think about how markets can go on this year but all local small creative businesses I know are struggling and in fear of what may happen. There is a big initiative to help support small businesses and I am lucky to be able to participate as an alumni in the MassArt Made Virtual Spring Market. ❤️ Visit MassArt.edu/virtualmarket from now till June 30th. Mother’s Day is coming up! 😉
