Dolly is found in Cambridge

Dolly is found in Cambridge On Sunday around 2AM, our new small Husky dog Dolly escaped. Last seen near Cambridge Commons. Please help! She's wearing a collar but no tags yet.

She's black and white with bright blue eyes with a little bit of brown, 2 years old, and about 20 pounds. If you see her, please don't chase after her - she's faster than you, and very skittish. You can try to lure her with food if possible. She likes hearing the word 'cookies' you can try saying that with whatever food you have. If you see her at all, please get in touch with us immediately so we

can try to come with a baited trap:

You can also call Animal Control if you think they could help you catch her:

We're really really freaking out – this dog is extremely emotionally important to us. If you have any information, or any time to look around or put out food, it would be immensely appreciated. If found we can offer a large cash reward – if you can put in effort to find her, we will compensate you appropriately.

It's Dolly's "Gotcha" Day, or more accurately, her "Lost-cha" Day... It was one year ago that we brought Dolly home from the airport only to have her escape from her exercise pen and out the back door. Fortunately, Missing Dogs Massachusetts helped us get her back 5 days later a little scared but relatively unharmed. We've been on some great adventures since then and I can't imagine life without her. Happy to report that if there are any doors between us now she will be waiting for me on the other side :)

Dolly hiked up the Mount Major trail in New Hampshire this weekend! She sniffed tons of new dogs and met many new people, though she definitely preferred booping them on the back of the leg over getting pets. Here she is relaxing at the top.

Dolly is a pro at sitting and making eye contact when strangers pass by at the park. She's not quite ready to let them pet her yet, but she was curious enough to sniff a guy's backpack today. We are also working on her recall in the fenced-in dog park and it's like she's been doing it for years! Smart girl.

Here are some moments from Dolly's first week at home. It's hard to get a picture of her being extra happy because she is usually jumping all over me and giving me kisses! She is the sweetest girl and has gotten comfortable enough to ask for pets and play with toys. She likes the soft ones with squeakers the most, and of course she squeaks them the loudest when I leave the room for a second. The last picture is of her new Whistle GPS tracker which will text me if she ever gets lost!

Dolly lying between my legs after another bath. She had the runs and decided to sit in it lol. She's warming up to us pretty quick!

Dolly is finally home, resting after being bathed and brushed. She has no visible ticks, fleas, or wounds besides a very small reddish bump next to her eye that we will keep an eye on. The vet said she is just a tad dehydrated and might have some diarrhea later on from the doggie garbage food we had to bait the trap with (chicken, sardines, peanut butter and tripe).

We've got her!! Thanks so much everyone!

She has settled down in one location, and we saw her for quite a while today. She even licked peanut butter Susan's fingers a bit before trotting off. Animal control knows and is going to set traps and cameras, they say they work best at night. Thanks everyone for your support!
