Many of you may have noticed I have essentially dropped off the face of the planet lately. Unfortunately my health has plummeted since January to the point I haven’t been able to really tolerate food for months, and occasionally liquids for days. I’ve had to go to the ER several times. Every day has been a struggle to just get by with daily things required to keep a house running, and a 21 month old happy, healthy, and safe. The bakery has fallen to the side during all this, as survival has been my main goal. Monday I had surgery with hopes that it will fix my issue. Since then I have been vomiting uncontrollably and unable to help fluids in, landing me back at St. Luke’s being pumped full of meds and fluids. I’m telling you all this for two reasons. I have always been completely open and honest with y’all about the good and ugly sides of my life, and some of you may have been affected by my lack of communication back. I don’t want anyone to think I’m blowing you off, especially if you’ve been trying to place an order and it takes me a bit to get back. Until further notice I won’t be taking any bakery orders until I get my health back on track. I am so sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, and any unintentionally hurt feelings the past few months. I am beyond thankful for those of you who have helped me during this. I love y’all and can’t wait to get back to making a life again and baking instead of just surviving.
