Every Eid, these maamoul cookies come from my mom’s hands to so many tables. This year we’re making them together while she bravely battles cancer. We made this batch to lift the spirits of some individuals dear to us.

Your love has been one of the most constant things in my life. In every season, you showed up for me; loudly, proudly, and without hesitation.
